About Me
Hey everyone! Allow me to introduce myself.
Common Online Username: Tatoranaki (came up with it out of the blue, complete nonsense)
I’ve ran a few forums, none of them worked out too well. So onto blogging!
I am a writer who loves to travel. I’ve been to Ireland, France, and various locations around the United States. I have self published various short stories and a duet play (iBookstore, NOOK) - I plan on making my first novel publish mid-2012.
I love to write, travel [both previously mentioned], draw, help people out, act, listen to K-LOVE [occasionally call in], and watch my not-so-little [anymore] 5-year old niece.
I’m a Christian, proud of it, and I attend a Christian school.
Feel free to read my blog, comment, vote, trackback & pingback, so on and so forth. Have a good one.

Here is the Adventure Writer Mission Statement, which will be amended and revised continually until its just right!
Although this a multi-subject blog, I do have a few set goals that will remain.
- I will continually provide reviews on movies, books, music, manga, MMORPG’s, WordPress themes, video games & consoles, food, and anything else suitable for review! In these reviews, I ask readers to keep in mind that I add my personal opinion into each post – I hold firmly to my Christians values and beliefs and will not compromise.
- I welcome any appropriate comments – however, any vulgar, profane, racist, or in any way slanderous comments will be deleted or marked as spam – not to be displayed on this blog. Courteous constructive criticism is welcome and I’m always looking for ways to improve my blog! Any other cordial comments and feedback are encouraged as well – I just have one request: think about what you say before you post it!
- This blog is not in any way meant to badger, slander, or reflect and elaborate upon darkly sarcastic, cynical, satirical topics and discussions. I will abide by Biblical standards and keep a civil tone in my writings. As a Christian, I agree with the statement made by Brother Andrew, author of God’s Smuggler: that we are not anti people of other religions or other beliefs, rather “pro-Christ.” I am open to the expression of one’s personal beliefs, though you may certainly expect to see me express mine in return. This blog is for informative and expressive purposes – if you have any questions, please leave a comment on one of my posts.

Hi, nice to meet you !
Nice to meet you. Let us know how your publishing efforts are going. I recently self-published a Christian novel through a publisher called Booklocker. I’m very brand new to the whole publishing process.
Nice to meet you all [in response to both comments] as well.
Self-publishing is something I should probably look into, and I’ll certainly post any progress I make in the process that I take with my book.
Most appreciated!
Read your review – darn, you’re really starting to sound like one of those guys in the magazines.
And to everyone else – this guy’s nickname is Tatertots. Be sure to call him that whenever you can! : )
Most appreciated – It’s good if I’m sounding like those guys – it means I’m starting to write like a genuine critic.
Tatertots? Sure, I’m already being called Tat, why not?
Not as good as my Sherlock Holmes book
but a good blog all round!
Haha, thanks. Ironically enough, I’m currently drafting a new Sherlock Holmes review.
Nice to meet you–looking forward to keeping an eye on your blog!
Nice to meet you as well and thanks for taking the time to read my blog.
Your blog appears most intriguing, and I’ll be sure to check it out! (terrific photographs)
It is nice to meet you and know you will be a publisher. Loved your video….I am a Christian too, proud of it.
hey – if you love klove – you might like its other station air 1 – think plumb, kutless, those sort of christian artists
I’ve heard of them before, never listened though. Thanks for the tip!
Nice. Good video. I will share in myblog … thanks
Glad to meet a Christian who does not bow her knees to the pagan gods. We stand firm to what we believe no matter who does not like it. I agree with keeping written material clean.
I could not listen to your favorite sermon. Something happened and it was interrupted.
Thanks for the comment! It is certainly difficult to find a steadfast Christian in an increasingly secular world, and when one is found, it is a most refreshing experience. If you’d still like to see the sermon, you may also find it at the preacher’s website:

His practicality in describing God is awe-inspiring. It re-opened my eyes to how big God truly (has ever been) is when I first watched it years ago.
Clive Michaels here, your blog looks awesome. I’m excited about your future posts!
Also, “tatertot?” I think I just might start calling you that.
But seriously, I’m glad you are taking a stand for your beliefs. Stay strong, brother!
Thanks for the comment Clive! I suppose you gleaned that “tatertot” nugget from Mayitrea’s comment?
Hey there, Adventure Writer! I found a link to your Blog from “Project B.U.I.L.D.” You have a great blog.
As you said, it is so refreshing to “find another steadfast Christian in an increasingly secular world.” Sadly to say, it also gets harder to find is a Christian who has not compromised on biblical music and values. I look forward to meeting you in the next few months of Development!
And I as well. I apologize for the delay in responding, it is a time for much business again. Thanks for the comment, and welcome to the Adventure Writer’s blog!
Today I just realized that your symbol is a stained-glass window. I thought it was a Bionicle Toa all the time I was reading your blog….
I can see how one might make that distinction.
So, how are you helping Project BUILD?
I’m allowing P.B. the use of my forums, with the stipulation that rules and regulations are observed. My administrators have remodeled the site to fit BUILD specifications. Thanks for visiting the Adventure Writer’s Blog!
Thank you!
You’re most welcome.
How could anyone not love the adventure writer blog? I know adventurewriter, and he’s a very good friend. -rawy
