Monet’s Flower: Another Photographic Endeavor

A Botanic Endeavor

This is one of my more interesting experiments in photography. I took a photograph from Monet's Garden (which I captured when I was visiting in October 2010) and cut out a single flower, then set myself to making it look presentable. Voila, the result! Perhaps not what I was trying to achieve, but what I would consider a success.

Profound? Not especially. This is why I have never sought to post this photograph on my blog. However, for the sake of comparison, this is the original photograph from which I drew (retrieved, rather) my blossom.
