“I’d say this album is the Best of Passion so far!”
The above quote is what I said last time about the Passion: Awakening album – now I’ve found another favorite! Passion: Here for You is abundant in energy and religious fervor, coming straight from Louie Giglio’s Passion
Conferences. Each song is more pumped up than the last, and that certainly goes for the Passion series as whole. The momentum builds with each song, each one powerful in its own unique way.

Chris Tomlin: And if Our God is for us…
…then who can be against us? The new album by Chris Tomlin features some of his best songs yet! A new version of Our God is included, with a stronger bringing a stronger, upbeat, Contemporary Christian vibe to the mix. Each song is packed with spiritually-energizing, spiritually uplifting songs – each with well thought out lyrics.
In the Limited Edition version, a DVD is included, along with as well as acoustic versions of some of Chris Tomlin’s previous songs, which compliments the entire album with a calm, altogether tranquil tone.
The Limited Edition includes the following songs:
I Will Follow
I Lift My Hands
Majesty of Heaven
No Chains On Me
The Name of Jesus
All to Us
Jesus My Redeemer
Our God (Acoustic)
I Will Follow (Acoustic)
Majesty of Heaven (Acoustic)
Where The Spirit of The Lord Is (Acoustic)
It’s a terrific album and quite a worthwhile purchase.
Chris Tomlin’s Glory in the Highest album is one of his best since And If Our God Is For Us… and Passion: Awakening.
Emotionally moving with the sentiment of the Christmas season – Glory in the Highest conveys the feelings of gratitude and reverence at the birth and ultimate death of Jesus Christ (and when he rose again), that we feel mutually as Christians. It takes a new twist on the Christmas carols of old – bringing a fresh, Contemporary Christian vibe to the mix. It’s upbeat, uplifting, and calming of the spirit.
The album also features the voice talents of Christy Nockels, Matt Redman, and Audrey Assad.
My favorite song of the album would certainly be O, Holy Night, not only due to it’s beautiful composition, but of the message that follows with it.
This album is highly recommended, and may be easily and cheaply obtained in a Christmas Bundle from the 268 Store for those interested.
Included within the album are the songs listed below, which, along with Christmas classics, contains some originals of Chris Tomlin and Ed Cash.
O, Come All Ye Faithful
Angels We Have Heard on High
Emmanuel [Hallowed Manger Ground]
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
My Soul Magnifies the Lord
Joy to the Lord [Unspeakable Joy]
Glory in the Highest
O, Holy Night
Come Thou Long Expected Jesus
Light of the World
Born that We May Have Life
What is like that warm holiday feel, such as you experience at Christmas? Crackling fires, falling snow, spending time with family – it’s a magical image. No wonder it’s accomplished such cinematic attentions.
It’s a time of presents… and in foresight, a time of frenzied shopping.
As a result, Christmas has become a holiday of giving and taking – a big day in the commercial industries – rather than what it used to be.
Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ – son of God.
Holidays such as Easter have become so traditional – many people have forgotten the true meanings behind them… and what they’re even celebrating.
This will be our theme for Adventure Writer this month. I will be reviewing various things, from videos to Christmas songs.
Be sure to check it out.
…are coming this holiday season!
From The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, to CD’s, books, and more!
I’ll be sure to throw in a few “filler graphics” (graphics I’ve made in my spare time), some creative writing, “deep thoughts,” and perhaps some additional photography.
It’ll all be jam-packed this December on Adventure Writer!
Our God is Greater
Our God is Stronger
Our God is higher than any other…
The new song by Chris Tomlin: Our God, is a striking achievement. With the same upbeat tone that is an attribute of almost all of Tomlin’s songs, Our God steps it up a notch. Contained within the Passion: Awakening album, Our God’s lyrics are spiritually uplifting and make for a song easy to worship to, and casual enough to listen to on the go.
Contained within the Passion: Awakening album are also songs by Kristian Stanfill, David Crowder Band, Christy Nockels, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Fee, and Hillsong United.
I’d say this album is the Best of Passion so far!
Over 10 million copies sold, and countless distributed in 3rd World Countries,God’s Smuggler is a missionary biography that speaks for itself. It is the true life-story of Brother Andrew, who at an early age, was called out of the slums of a purposeless life into a fulfilling, walk-by-faith journey with God – leading him to become a daring missionary to places that others would never imagine going. It is truly a story that appeals to a vast range of audiences, no matter the age, around the globe. As well as being an easy read, it also has the page-by-page suspense-feel that many New York Times Bestselling thrillers are famous for.
The reader may journey into the era of communism as Andrew smuggles Bibles beyond some of the most strictly totalitarian countries’ borders – from Eastern European countries under the shroud of the Iron Curtain, to Communist China. His ministry spread wherever God took him, and his cause grew as anorganism of close-knit believers, working together for the advancement of the gospel. Andrew’s journey was one led by faith alone – in finances, family matters, even the smallest aspects of life were entrusted to God. It is amazing what can happen when you fall into the arms of your Heavenly Father, without the anxiety and distrust that the people of our world so often hold.
Brother Andrew covers a vast plethora of religious subjects and life-matters within God’s Smuggler. He reveals a philosophy of emphasizing the positive, and never being anti-religious, or anti-philosophy toward other beliefs, but rather being pro-Christ. Enabling a person to spread the Good News without the boundaries that are often created by prejudice.
I found out about the X-Structure, located at the center of the Whirlpool Galaxy, from Louie Giglio’s sermon: Indescribable and How Great Is Our God.
Inspired by the message, I continued to use the NASA image for a variety of purposes – include my forum avatar. Then I went into graphic design with it, messing around with Paint.net, I came up with this: (using NASA’s public domain image of the X-Structure as my basis and structure)
Daktar / Diplomat in Bangladesh.
The story of Viggo Olsen. A wonderfully written account of his journey through life, and missionary journey as well. A story with parallel’s to those of Saul’s in the Holy Bible. Born in a highly moralistic family, Mr. Olsen was raised in a way he would later come to appreciate. Nonetheless, his early years of life were filled with agnosticism. Through his college years, he and his wife Joan set themselves on proving Christianity false. Denying that Christ was the Savior of humanity, and the very fact of his historical existence. Yet the very vigor with which they fought against truth, they came to know it. From darkness, they came into life.
I’ve only read 39 pages [7:12 pm, I plan to finish the remaining 310 pages tonight], and it’s already an amazing, wonderfully written piece of literature – and the uplifting story of a Christian Missionary.
